Content Guidelines
Proposals should include a title and a 100-word abstract that outlines a unique organizational experience based on, but not limited to, one of the following scenarios:
- Cloud deployment and management: share your journey with cloud and discuss techniques for deploying, managing and securing your cloud environment
- Asset Management: how has your organization achieved greater efficiency in asset management by managing traditional IT, physical, and emerging smart assets
- Service availability and performance; advancements in increasing service availability and quality including visibility of services and the networks, systems and applications supporting them
- Service provider networks and services; how you leveraged IBM solutions to deploy and manage new next generation services (4G, cloud)
- Stories about innovation and transformation; including smart buildings, smart grid, smart healthcare; and how IBM helped your organization deliver new types of products and services
- Service delivery: Discuss how IBM solutions helped you achieve greater levels of collaboration across development and operations; how automation has helped you achieve greater levels of agility
- Security, risk and compliance; how your organization has improved its security, risk or compliance posture with automated threat, identity, access and security controls
- Industry-specific implementations that explore how your organization implemented an industry-tailored service architecture and how this played a role in innovation and/or service delivery
- Virtualization: discuss your solutions for provisioning, scheduling, storage and optimization of hybrid, virtualized environments and their impact on efficiency and cost-savings
- Big Data: discuss how you have used analytics to find insights in new and emerging types of data and content to make your business more agile, to answer questions that were previously beyond your reach, and to achieve real business results
Helpful Hints
- Describe your session fully. Include a description of your business objectives, how you used IBM solutions to address them, and any lessons learned. A clear sense of your presentation's focus helps us evaluate your proposal and will draw more attendees to your session if you are selected.
- Be original and timely. Pulse attendees are eager to hear the latest advancements and appreciate your unique perspective.
- Remember that your goal is to educate, not sell. Our attendees appreciate the educational value of Pulse. Stay neutral and focus on the educational value of your presentation.
Business Justification
To help justify travel expenses to your company, complete the Pulse Business Justification letter and share it with your .management. We encourage you to submit your proposal to present even if you haven't received travel expense approval. Submitting a proposal does not obligate you to attend Pulse.

* Client Speaker and Business Partner Speaker Conference Registration Waiver In exchange for your participation as a speaker, client and Business Partner speakers who are selected to deliver a conference breakout session may be eligible to receive a conference registration waiver valued at up to USD $1995.
