Post-Conference Education

Take advantage of an additional opportunity to supplement your Pulse experience with post-conference education. Two-day Tivoli workshops provide official Tivoli customer education in the same convenient location. Workshops focus on hands-on experience, but also include valuable lectures that together provide a comprehensive education on the product of your choice. Please be aware that classroom size is limited, and pre-registration is required.

  • - IBM Tivoli Netcool Network Manager Bundle 9.2 Fundamentals

    In this course, you learn to solve business problems related to network management with IBM Tivoli Netcool Network Manager Bundle 9.2 products, which include IBM Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus 7.4, IBM Tivoli Netcool Configuration Manager 6.4, and IBM Tivoli Network Manager 3.9.

  • - IBM Tivoli Endpoint Manager Platform Workshop

    IBM Tivoli Endpoint Manager Platform describes architecture, content, management tools, user roles, and integration with external security solutions. In this course, you develop end-to-end product skills with the Tivoli Endpoint Manager platform, including deployment planning, licensing, installation, configuration, console usage, reporting, troubleshooting, and common use case considerations. IBM Tivoli Endpoint Manager Platform addresses the knowledge required to fulfill multiple operational, administrative, and consulting roles of the core Tivoli Endpoint Manager components.

  • - IBM SmartCloud Control Desk 7.5 Foundations

    This course introduces you to the fundamental concepts of managing IT assets, service requests, and changes in your IT environment using IBM SmartCloud Control Desk. You learn how managing these processes with a unified solution provides significant advantages to your organization. Through instructor-led discussion, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises, you learn how to plan a deployment, perform basic configuration, and navigate IBM SmartCloud Control Desk.

  • - Cloud IBM SmartCloud Provisioning 2.1 Fundamentals

    This workshop provides an overview of the IBM SmartCloud Provisioning 2.1 Solution, including the Virtual Image Library and IBM Construction and Composition Tools. After completing this course, you can install, configure, and administer the various components of the solution and perform basic problem determination and troubleshooting.

  • - Introduction to IBM TRIRIGA Application Building

    In this workshop, you modify an existing TRIRIGA object. After you work with Data Modeler, Form Builder, Workflow Builder, and Report Manager, you have a well-rounded view of the TRIRIGA application development process and the major TRIRIGA configuration toolset.

  • - IBM Maximo 7.5 Work Management and Supply Chain Enhancements

    This two-day workshop covers several of the new features in the Maximo Asset Management 7.5 release, including inventory management LIFO and FIFO costing methods, purchase order revisions, centralized invoices, Maximo Scheduler/PM Forecasting, and multiple site repair facilities and asset templates. The workshop also includes an overview of security and chart of accounts features and Migration Manager collections.

  • - IBM Maximo Integration with External Systems: Rapid Implementation Approaches

    With Maximo Integration Framework, you have many integration approaches. Although traditional synchronization of data between Maximo and external systems such as SAP, Oracle, and others is fully supported, the Integration Framework also offers integration approaches that you can rapidly configure and provide to production users. This course explains five such approaches: application-based export and import, launching other business application user interfaces from Maximo, querying Maximo objects using web services, designing and implementing an end-to-end external system interaction using web service interactions, and using REST application programming interface to query Maximo records.

  • - IBM Maximo Scenario-Based Automation Scripting: Basic to Advanced

    Scripting in version 7.5 uses short pieces of code, simplified programming model (Jython) that is interpreted, not compiled, as in Java). You dynamically extend or customize applications without server restarts to beyond the MBO capabilities traditionally provided by system configuration applications.
