Tivoli zSecure Admin

Overview

Tivoli zSecure Admin is the next generation layer of security administration for RACF.

It is a user-friendly layer on top of RACF which enables security administration, user management and compliance management on the mainframe by:

Defining and granting access to users and user groups.
Setting and resetting user IDs and passwords.
Displaying all occurrences or a cross-referencing of a user ID or a user group.
Running daily or monthly reports.
Testing changes to the RACF database configuration with an offline copy.
Helping to identify potential problems quickly to minimize the risks of security breaches.
Enable senior administrators to focus on higher-value tasks.
Performs RACF database clean up to remove unused or obsolete authorizations
