The next releases of IBM Informix Dy- namic Server (IDS) and Extended Parallel Server (XPS) are intended to be enabled to back up to IBM Tivoli Storage Manager and will not require IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Databases. Customers using versions of IDS, XPS, and Red Brick available now, who want the Data Protection for Informix component, can obtain it by separately purchasing Tivoli Stor- age Manager for Databases V5.2. |
