OMEGAMON XE for CICS on z/OS provides system monitoring and performance management across System z, including zEnterprise, with an easy-to-use enhanced 3270 user interface

OMEGAMON XE for CICS on z/OS v5.1.0 introduces significant new capabilities designed to:

Improve time to resolution for problems by requiring fewer steps to find the cause of a CICS performance problem. This will help achieve higher system availability.
Improved visibility of CICS environment using a new, comprehensive 3270 user interface (e3270 UI). The new interface allows integrating enterprise-wide views of environment on a single screen. Additionally, now able to group CICS regions into CICSplex reporting groups for simplified reporting. CICSplexes can be defined using simple rules or, if there are CPSM definitions available, they can be used.
Reduce the time spent managing CICS systems by leveraging ITM functions. These functions include the new self-describing agents. A new parameter based installation option is provided (Parrmgen) which simplifies the installation, configuration and management of enterprise's z/OS components.
Allows execution of the Service Level Analysis component of OMEGAMON XE for CICS on z/OS v5.1.0 on a zIIP speciality processor.
