- Based on latest technology from ESRI using ArcGIS Server 9.3 SP1 to creates a GIS Map Tab on the Work Order, Asset, Location and Service Request Applications in IBM Maximo
- The embedded Java framework is fully integrated providing seamless access to the GIS environment in Maximo for spatially enabled work orders, work requests, assets and locations
- In addition to displaying map content from the production GIS system, external web services and data can be added as a layer on the Map Tab. Relationships between IBM Maximo entities and GIS records can be visualized by highlighting related GIS features
- Search capabilities allows users to find GIS records using IBM Maximo and GIS queries, or Find by Address. Result sets are highlighted in the map view and inserted into a list in the Task Results
- Powerful Interoperability allows direct read data from other GIS and CAD systems
- Based on leading standards-based technology: web-architected platform built on J2EE with advanced business process management, based on SOA, web services and XML
- IBM Maximo Spatial Asset Management 7.1.0.1 runs on Maximo Asset Management 7.1.1.4 or higher and requires ESRI ArcGIS Server 9.3 SP1
