IBM Maximo e-Commerce Adapter implements electronic procurement in Maximo.

Buyers are able to improve efficiency by generating demand directly from work activities in Maximo and receiving supplier transactions directly into Maximo.

• Browse multiple supplier catalogs, place orders on multiple marketplaces or directly with the suppliers, check order status and process supplier invoices electronically.
• Pre-configured to connect with Maximo Online Commerce System (OCS), thus enabling Maximo users to immediately conduct e-business with suppliers and manufacturers on OCS.
• Punch out to Maximo OCS or supplier site for “spot” buying or configurator-based buying and have the shopping cart returned directly to Maximo’s requisition order lines.
• Extensible standard-based e-commerce framework that provides a complete e-commerce enablement environment, allowing you to easily support your suppliers and other private or public e-Marketplaces.
• Library of pre-defined e-commerce transaction based on extensible markup language (XML) and OAGIS schemas.
