Title: IBM Maximo Adapter for Microsoft Project

Description: We will review the main features of the Adapter and use some of them in a short demo scenario. The Adapter is a component data integration to Microsoft Project. It allows you to see Maximo work orders in project management format, schedule them, edit their data values, and update Maximo with the results. It also allows you to forecast future Preventive Maintenance work orders to see where they should occur based on their frequency. Along with the work orders, work plan tools and labor are brought over as resource assignments so that resource-leveling can be used to generate realistic schedules by craft and tool availability.

Description: This is an overview of the IBM Maximo solutions for managing complex, component-based assets such as Aircraft, Weapon Systems and Locomotives. The presentation will describe the IBM Maximo Asset Configuration Manager solution and its ability to maintain critical assets for airlines, defense agencies and railroads. This solution adds Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul capabilities to allow Maximo customers to track asset configurations; support regulatory compliance such as airworthiness directives; address manufacturer service bulletins; and provide operations status management. Key capabilities of IBM Maximo Asset Configuration Manager include CMActive for component life accounting, Configuration Rules Management for build configuration management, and the Build Data Interpreter (BDI) for operational status management. This presentation will discuss how customers today are achieving benefits and return on investment.
