SOA Management - TabNav

Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) is a way to improve business agility, by using formally defined software interfaces to increase the re-usability of software, break down technology-driven barriers among internal and external organizations and to lower the costs of integration. SOA is an architectural approach to building applications, but the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) is the real infrastructure upon which the SOA applications will be deployed. The ESB (described in Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and WAS SI Bus below ) is a collection of new and mature technologies built using both standard and proprietary protocols that were either designed for or adapted to the deployment and interconnection of services. SOA and ESB not only introduce the 'service' as a conceptual entity but also as a new class of object that requires management in its own right., along with its protocols, interfaces and infrastructure components.
