Course description
NOTE: This is a live, instructor-led online course. Do not make arrangements to travel. Learn the key applications and functions of Maximo 6. Focus is on the setup, processing, and management of work management records and supporting maintenance activities. A context for learning IBM Maximo procedures and processes: scenarios are provided where you are asked to assume changing roles while carrying out a wide variety of tasks related to the process and management of work through the work order lifecycle: generating, planning, scheduling, dispatching, and completing.

This is an intermediate course for maintenance managers, planners, schedulers, maintenance supervisors, and maintenance engineers.
Required skills/knowledge
You should complete:
- Navigation and Querying in IBM Maximo 6 (TV543)
or have prior work experience with IBM Maximo 5 or greater
To participate in both the lectures and labs for this course, the student workstation must meet the following hardware requirements:
- Minimum of 256 MB of memory
- Windows 2000 or XP
- Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher.
- 128-bit encryption
- Versions of Internet Explorer prior to version 6.0 and Windows 2000 must have the High Encryption Packs installed
- Minimum 30Kbps dedicated Internet bandwidth
