Course description
This pre-recorded seminar will cover using the IBM Tivoli Unified Process (ITUP) Composer 2.1 to plan, design and deploy IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions. The IBM Tivoli Unified Process Composer V2.1 (ITUP) details how IT Service Management can be implemented by integrating new process-oriented products with traditional management products. This integration enables organizations to align their processes, people and current products to improve planning and guide implementation of ITSM initiatives. ITUP is based on the IBM Process Reference Model for IT (PRM-IT), which is closely aligned with the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
ITUP Composer is built using IBM Rational Method Composer (RMC). The process-related ITUP content is entered into RMC and then published as a Web site. RMC enables users to customize the base ITUP content to create their own process models.
Presenters: John O Long and Ketan M Shah
