Course description
IBM Tivoli Access Manager for e-business provides a wide range of authorization and management solutions. IBM Tivoli Access Manager WebSEAL is the resource manager responsible for protecting Web-based resources. WebSEAL is shipped with IBM Tivoli Access Manager for e-business product. This Web-based course provides the students with the knowledge and skills needed to use WebSEAL to protect Web-based resources. Accompanied by 2 hours of remote labs.
Objectives
After taking this course, the student will be able to:
- Describe how WebSEAL secures Web-based resources.
- Describe a variety of authentication methods including basic authentication, forms-based single sign-on, and client-side certificate.
- Describe and manage WebSEAL junctions.
- Describe Session Management Server (SMS) and how WebSEAL uses SMS to manage user sessions.
- Use auditing and logging to track users and administrators activities.
