Course description
This 1-day instructor-led course is designed to train users to move configuration changes from one environment to another with Migration Manager, a set of new functions common to all Tivoli Product Application Platform (TPAP) offerings.
Objectives
After completing this course, you should be able to:
- Create, define, and distribute a migration package in the source environment
- Deploy that same package in the target environment
Course outline
The first half of the course presents the uses of Migration Manager.
The second half contains lab exercises where the students will define, create, distribute, and deploy the configuration changes.

Tivoli Services database configuration experts who understand database business objects, primary keys, and dependencies.
Required skills/knowledge
You should have experience with IBM IT Enterprise and Asset Management 7.1.
