Gain hands-on practice implementing a Maximo Asset Management (MAM) strategy. Hands-on exercises provide participants the opportunity to create a second instance of the Maximo application, perform customization activities, migrate configuration content from a source environment to a target environment (the second Maximo instance), create jms queues, produce Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT) reports, and perform other implementation-oriented activities.
Objectives
After completing this course, you should be able to accomplish the following:
- Describe the architecture of the Maximo Asset Management for 7.1
- Create a new Maximo instance
- Perform database and application customization tasks
- Using Migration Manager, migrate a workflow process from source environment to target environment
- Perfrom Integration Framework or MEA-related activites
- Query and run reports
- Troubleshoot and maintain MAM including exercises using the Logger application
