Course description
This course will give students Tivoli Access Manager for e-business customization experience. In this 60% hands-on instructor-led course, students will customize the external authentication interface, integrate Tivoli Access Manager into a J2EE application framework, manage user sessions, create new rules for authorization, and tune Tivoli Access Manager for improved performance.
Objectives
After taking this course, the student will be able to:
- Create and manage authorization rules to customize access control.
- Customize external authentication interface (EAI) to supply custom authenticated identity information to WebSEAL.
- Implement step-up authentication to control the method used to access a protected resource.
- Tailor the user's experience by placing custom graphics in Tivoli Access Manager login pages.
- Install and configure the session management server (SMS) to improve performance.
- Integrate Tivoli Access Manager into a J2EE application framework such as WebSphere.
- Describe basic performance tuning for Tivoli Access Manager.
