Course description
The IBM Tivoli Netcool OMNIbus 7.3 release incorporates several advancements over previous versions of this enterprise level operations management solution. This course will cover key changes in version 7.3, which include embedded web client capabilities previously delivered by IBM Tivoli Netcool Webtop, performance and scalability improvements, deployment enhancements, and improved Integration and Interoperation with other Tivoli software. You should already be familiar with using previous versions of the IBM Tivoli Netcool OMNIbus software in an operational environment, prior to attending this session.
Objectives
After completing this course,you should be able to accomplish the following:
- Determine pre-instalation requirements
- Describe the new architecture and features
- Install OMNIbus, Probes and Gateways and the Web GUI
- Configure Initial access in the TIP portal
