Course description
The five-day IBM Tivoli Netcool/Proviso Advanced Level II course will prepare you to perform a real-world deployment of Netcool/Proviso with simple integration requirements. Modules in this course are presented by lecture, practical application, lab activities, and case studies. You will build on the Level I activities by installing additional components to an existing instance of the product, as well as work with new properties, new aggregation sets, new reports, and new collection metrics.
Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Install IBM Tivoli Netcool/Proviso in a distributed environment.
- Understand discovery and inventory at the formula level.
- Add properties to sub-elements.
- Configure inventory automations.
- Install and modify aggregation sets.
