Course description
This 4 hour interactive Web-based course provides you with the prerequisite knowledge needed to attend either the IBM Maximo Enterprise Adapter classes or the IBM Maximo 6 Components Customization class. A minimal knowledge of Maximo is required to pass records from Maximo to another application, or to post a customization to Maximo using a MBO. That minimal knowledge will be addressed in this course.
Objectives
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Navigate in IBM Maximo 6.
- Create company records.
- Create and modify item/inventory records.
- Create and modify a work order.
- Create and modify a purchase request, purchase order, and receipt.
- Configure the IBM Maximo database.
- Use the basic features of IBM Maximo 6 Application Designer.
