How do I find Flashes for my products?

You can find flashes (Alert notification of significant product related issues) in the Important Information section of the Overview page.

How do I obtain a Patch?

A patch is a change to the data in a file or database. Sometimes it is necessary to obtain a patch for a product to fix data issues. You can obtain patches for a specific product on the Download page. You can search by entering the product name as the search term and then to further limit your search results for just patches, check the box for "Updates". By using this filter, you will see all patches and fixes available for the product.

How do I locate support contact information?

To locate the correct email address, fax or phone number for your product and region of the world, visit IBM’s Planetwide Directory.

How do I locate a Technote?

To find the technote you’re looking for; visit the new IBM Software support search tool.

How do I navigate to specific brand support pages?

In the right hand navigation on the Overview page there are links to the 5 brand support sites along with links to ServiceLink/IBM Link and IBM eServer. These links will take you directly to the brand support sites where you can find specific products and information.

How do I find educational and reference information that is available?

On the Assistance page there is a link to "Site Tours". These tours provide "How-to" instructions and animation to help you get the most out of our site and will show you how to use specific site features.

How do I locate Site Tours?

Interactive tours of our website that provide "how-to" instructions using screen shots and animation to help you get the most out of our site may be found in the Site Tours area on the Assistance page.

How do I control the Site Tours?

The site tour will begin playing automatically after you select it. To control all site tours (pause, fast-forward, etc.):

For users of Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6 on Windows XP or Windows 2003: You may need to activate it first. To do so, select the tour by clicking anywhere within it or pressing the Tab key, then press the Spacebar or Enter key. You can then scroll to the bottom of the site tour to use the controls.

For all other users: Scroll to the bottom of the site tour to use the controls.

How do I find out about new features of the Support page?

The Overview page contains an Important Information section which highlights new features of the Support page.

How do I translate my pages to another language?

WebSphere Translation Services is available from all our product support pages. It will dynamically translate the page, and all subsequent pages to any one of 9 different languages which include:
