The TME10 list is used to discuss Tivoli products and Tivoli Ready products. The list is available in a digest format, with individual list messages compiled into a single mail message and sent out either daily or after the digest exceeds a certain size.
Posting new messages To post a message to the TME10 list, send email to tme10@lists.ca.ibm.com. Your message will be redistributed to the list of subscribers. Your email address must exactly match your address as you subscribed to the list, otherwise your posting will be rejected. Subscribing and unsubscribing By sending a message to tme10-subscribe@lists.ca.ibm.com, a new member can request subscription to the list. Both the Subject: header and body of such a message are ignored. By sending a message to tme10-unsubscribe@lists.ca.ibm.com, a member can request unsubscription from the list. As with the -join address, the Subject: header and body of the message is ignored. Digest mode To turn digest mode on or off, send an email to tme10-request@lists.ca.ibm.com with the command set digest plain or set digest mime or set digest off. Commands can appear in either the body or the subject of the message. Set it to "off" if you wish to receive individual posts separately, and to "plain" or "mime" to receive posts grouped into one large mail. The TME10 list is a closed list. This means that only messages from list subscribers will be accepted. The sender's email address must exactly match the subscription list address. Do not post to the list unless you believe that your comment or question is of general interest to the TME10 user community. Do not use the list for the purposes of advertising or soliciting products, services or employment.
It is recommended that you place a "keyword" at the beginning of your subject line, enclosed in square brackets (e.g. [FW]). This helps readers identify the product associated with your question or comment. The following are some suggestions for keywords:
Questions or comments pertaining to the TME10 list itself should begin with the keyword "[LIST]". Due to the high volume of messages and large subscriber base, the policy for bounced email messages is that a subscriber will be dropped from the list if email bounces for a 24-hour period. The subscriber will have to re-subscribe when the problem is fixed and retrieve the list archives for missed messages. List members should unsubscribe from the list before starting a "vacation" program to prevent the "vacation" message from being posted to the list. List members can then re-subscribe when the "vacation" program is disabled. If a "vacation" message gets posted to the TME10 list, the member will be unsubscribed. This list is NOT for posting job openings, or searching for job openings. Anyone that does post concerning a job will be sent a warning the first time. The second time, that person will be denied access to the list. If this happens three times from one company within a year, the company will be denied from this list. For those organizations that are looking for people and vice versa, a website is located at the Tivoli Resource Center. This site is external to Tivoli, and is not maintained, monitored or endorsed by IBM. |
