An international education organization headquartered in the United States provides leadership development and life-success programs for young, high-achieving people worldwide. The company’s programs focus on experiential education, in which participants learn by doing, in partnership with teachers, school counselors and other educators from more than 100 countries who mentor and guide students.

Challenge
NetSuite technology users appreciate the ability to manage their business operations from the cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) platform. Yet integration challenges may arise in hybrid environments that also use applications running on premises.

The education group faced this issue when it needed to integrate NetSuite CRM technology with disparate on-premises event registration applications. Lacking such integration, marketing and sales productivity suffered when time-consuming and error-prone manual data entry bogged down telesales staff members.

Solution
The organization chose IBM WebSphere® Cast Iron® Cloud integration, which includes technology built for simplifying the NetSuite solution integration with other applications.
