Business need:
Trillium had a vision -- that all patients would have one integrated patient profile enabled by a seamless flow of information from hospitals and doctors’ offices to specialists and healthcare agencies—that would be instantly accessed, with appropriate security and privacy safeguards.

Solution:
To achieve their goal, Trillium formed THINK, a 7-year, $100 million strategic initiative to transform healthcare delivery. This transformation will fully integrate patient data across multiple points of care; allow patients to add input to and manage their health record; provide a fully integrated planning and scheduling process across the continuum of care, increasing productivity and streamlining processes.

As an innovative healthcare leader, Trillium had a vision -- that all patients would have one integrated patient profile enabled by a seamless flow of information from hospitals and doctors’ offices to specialists and healthcare agencies—that would be instantly accessed, with appropriate security and privacy safeguards.

Solution
To achieve their goal, Trillium formed THINK, a 7-year, $100 million strategic initiative to transform healthcare delivery. This transformation will fully integrate patient data across multiple points of care; allow patients to add input to and manage their health record; provide a fully integrated planning and scheduling process across the continuum of care, increasing productivity and streamlining processes. At Trillium’s request, IBM, as team lead, will oversee eight of the world’s leading healthcare-related technology companies collaborating on this project in order to harness their knowledge and experience.
