RAC is a 116-year-old company. It was set up to provide services to motorists in the late 19th century. Since then, it has been providing breakdown services for motorists in the United Kingdom.

Business need:
RAC decided to expand member service offerings. To develop new services and applications, which typically takeup to four weeks, RAC’s IT architecture required an overhaul to create a flexible environment.

Solution:
Working with IBM Business Partner Prolifics, RAC selected IBM WebSphere Message Broker software to integrate 680 point-to-point connections.
