Financiera Independencia is the oldest micro financing company in Mexico. It was created 17 years ago in 1993. We have a portfolio of approximately one million six hundred thousand customers (1,600,000).

In order to maintain our position as leaders in our field, we need to be more dynamic, and to respond quickly to this changing market.

We have a great challenge in integrating different client bases that operate on different technology bases, different platforms, even different cultures, and the challenge we have is in integrating this efficiently and optimally so that we can continue to be competitive and profitable.

Now with IBM, we are creating our second generation of BPM. One of the most important aspects has been the capacity that IBM Blueworks Live has provided for us to be able to create a more dynamic, faster rough sketch of business processes, thereby allowing more efficient collaboration among people from different lines of business and IT people.

With Blueworks Live, we were able to focus very well on prioritizing the needs of the business and provide those that add more value to our business.
