System requirements

Tape Manager for z/VM V1.2 and V1.3 run on hardware that meets the minimum specifications of the supported operating environment. All prerequisites and corequisites for these products apply. The products listed here are supported only while service is available for those products.

z/VM	z/VM V6.1 (5741-A07), or later Library for REXX on zSeries (5695-014), or Alternate Library for REXX on zSeries (free download) DFSMS RMS for ATL and VTS support Oracle StorageTek VM/Host Software Component V6.1 for support of Oracle StorageTek silos If using Tape Manager in RMM Mode: z/OS V1.9 (5694-A01), or later and the DFSMSrmm optional feature of the z/OS release installed	System z servers Tape devices supported by CMS. Support for sharing of tape devices requires 3480 tape devices, or later. Any Oracle StorageTek silo that interfaces with VM/Host Software Component V6.1 and higher.
