Answer: Since 1993 the Tivoli Migration Team has completed over 1,500 migration for customers large and small. Our approach is to leverage our skills and tools along with your knowledge of your systems to create a cost - effective team that helps ensure your migration is a success.
Question: I'm concerned that a migration will take too long to complete.
Answer: A migration project can range anywhere from 2 to 5 months depending on the project's complexity, the skill level of your staff, the amount of resources assigned and the focus your organization is willing to dedicate to the migration effort.
Question: I wouldn't want to disrupt my operations by agreeing to a migration.
Answer: Before starting a migration, we conduct a migration assessement that identifies migration issues unique to your particular environment. By analyzing data from your systems and working with members of your staff and management, our migration specialists can develop an action plan that helps minimize disruptions to your operations.
Question: Our staff will need to be re-trained on the new product.
Answer: Training is a key element to every migration. While training is available from IBM Education and Training through formal classes, on-the-job training is provided by our Migration Consultants.
Question: My portfolio of products is large, I wouldn't know where to begin.
Answer: We will help you focus on the "big hitter" products and, from our experience, you will often uncover
products that are not being used.
