IBM acquires Ounce Labs

We are pleased to announce that IBM has acquired Ounce Labs. Ounce Labs provides source code (static) security testing tools that help companies identify and resolve security vulnerabilities in applications, enabling developers and security professionals to reduce the risks and costs associated with security and compliance concerns. With this acquisition Ounce Labs becomes a part of the IBM Rational software business and a critical component of the Rational AppScan portfolio of application security and compliance software.
