Mini-main tents at Innovate: The IBM Technical Summit

This year at Innovate 2013, we will feature seven mini-main tent general sessions on key trends and topics in software and product development. These sessions and times are as follows:

Enterprise DevOps: Accelerating Delivery of Multiplatform Applications

How do you accelerate your build, test, deploy, and release processes for faster time to market and improved quality without sacrificing mission-critical performance or availability? How do you quickly reuse and extend your core enterprise applications to new customers? How do you get a better return on the investment from the systems you depend on?

You have probably experienced that even minor updates can be tedious and error-prone when dealing with applications that span multiple platforms, languages and processes.

IBM has been helping IT organizations and teams to embrace DevOps practices and address these challenges. In this session, we'll share some of our customer success stories as well as highlight the new announcements and capabilities that IBM is bringing to market for DevOps and beyond— including support for mainframe, mobile, and cloud development environments.

To compete, companies are being forced to evolve their technology while facing the new complexities associated with “any-time, any-where” development, such as social collaboration, cloud-based applications, big data and agile methodologies. Furthermore, their engineers must work closely and collaboratively across engineering disciplines including electrical, mechanical, systems engineering and software development.

Join this keynote and learn how IBM is helping companies adopt a systems approach to product and systems development.  You will hear from industry leaders on the need to adopt an integrated systems engineering approach and achieve tighter collaboration with operations. Can you remove the overhead and waste associated with waterfall governance and status reporting? How do you keep pace with competitors who are cranking out new versions of their solutions every day with a relentless focus on their customer needs?

Join our technical leaders as we explore the new Agile paradigms, practices and tools that are needed to stay ahead of the competition.
