Business transformation and application modernization made easy!

IBM Rational would like to invite you to join us for the IBM 2006 International Enterprise Generation Language User Conference, to be held at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill - Kenan-Flagler Business School, Chapel Hill, NC, on August 1-2, 2006. This year's conference offers a variety of technical product sessions, customer testimonials, product demonstrations and much more to show the breadth and depth of this powerful technology. There is something for everyone!

This 2 day conference will be of great interest to any customer or business partner currently using:

  • IBM Enterprise Generation Language
  • IBM's Visual Age Generator, Cross System Product (CSP), and Informix 4GL
  • COBOL and RPG who would like to protect their investment in existing applications while modernizing and extending those applications
  • Other 4GL products like Natural, CA Telon, CA Cool:Gen, CA Ideal or Oracle Forms (to name a few)
  • And anyone looking for development tools to enhance their SOA deployments

Topics to be presented will include Web application development, Service-Orient Architecture (SOA) development, model-driven development and EGL directions. Migration from 4GLs to EGL, I4GL to EGL and from COBOL or RPG to EGL will also be discussed. In short, attendees will see the true power of the EGL Eclipse-based application development environment.

Throughout the conference, we will offer opportunities for you to gather with peers and colleagues to learn more about specific topics that appeal to you.

While there is no charge to attend the user conference, attendees are expected to pay their own travel and living expenses. IBM will provide continental breakfast and lunch on each day of the conference and will pay for parking for attendees who drive to the meeting site.
