Most IBM® IMSTM customers have made significant investments in automation that support the IMS systems generation process — from in-house written applications to automated procedures, in order to build and distribute the IMS systems. With IMS V10, IBM introduced changes that could be made to IMS resources using the IMS Dynamic Resource Definition (DRD) process, with the goal of a “sysgen free” IMS environment. But the IMS DRD feature does provide the same degree of automation for the DRD process. If you’re planning to migrate to IMS 11, there’s a new tool that can help.
Join us for this complimentary teleconference and learn how the IMS Configuration Manager was specifically developed to use IMS DRD without losing the benefits achieved by any current automation. Using the IMS Configuration Manager you can support the traditional IMS Systems Generation Process and covert to the IMS DRD environment at the same time using a consistent and structured approach. We’ll show you how you can get the benefits of IMS DRD while maintaining the security, change control, and audibility standards delivered by your current process.
Join us after the teleconference for a live question-and-answer session. The teleconference will also be available for replay after the event.
