Attend this free application development workshop to learn how to more easily modify, enhance, and extend your current COBOL / PL/I applications for IMS.

Come and test drive the newest application development tools for System z™, which will allow you to more easily discover, maintain, enhance and modernize your COBOL IMS applications, ensuring that your company's investments in these applications continue to pay dividends for years to come. In this workshop attendees will have the opportunity to analyze, debug, and enhance sample COBOL applications using Rational Asset Analyzer (RAA), IMS DLI Model Utility, and Rational® Developer for System z.

If you are an Application Developer responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and creating COBOL applications for IMS, this workshop will help you learn how to accomplish those tasks more easily using Rational Developer for System z, Rational Asset Analyzer, and IMS DLI Model Utility. COBOL and IMS skills and experience are required. Some Eclipse and Rational Application Developer knowledge is helpful, but it is not required.

This workshop is offered free of charge. Complimentary refreshments including continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Participants are responsible for their own business travel expenses.
