Learn how to leverage existing investments in WebSphere solutions to make your mainframe accessible to mobile devices, and what to expect from the changing workloads.

We’ll discuss how the run-time environment and tools help to establish a first-class, agile run-time delivery platform for mobile devices and applications, and why this can be of significant value to you. We’ll show you how CICS Deployment Assistant can help to discover and create your platform and how the CICS Explorer® can be used as a simple interface into CICS for creating and deploying platforms in a cloud.
In previous sessions, you heard about mobile workloads and innovation for platforms in a cloud, but what about the applications that run on those platforms? How do you define and deploy these applications quickly and easily? In this session, we’ll answer these questions and introduce tools that can help define and deploy the application. Finally, you’ll get an introduction to the new, fast and lightweight Java web-container and mobile JSON support that’s combined with the CICS qualities of service, making integration with mobile devices simple and efficient.
