Organizations are facing enormous challenges as they look to reap the next level of value from their business analytics initiatives. Sorting out the right self-service strategy, delivering more value, getting beyond the backlog of reports, or knowing how to start harnessing big data, visualization or decision management technologies are unprecedented challenges and opportunities. Learn how to shape your business analytics program with the new approaches, new technologies, and new ideas that accelerate and deliver the next level of value for your organization with every incremental step.

Big data is a big deal. Big data and information integration capabilities make it possible to generate insight from vast quantities of data, whether at rest or still in motion, fundamentally changing the way organizations use information. Furthermore, analytics tools can be used to virtually integrate the data with data stored in traditional warehouses. Focusing on a number of customer cases, the session demonstrates capabilities of the IBM Big Data and Analytics platform and how our customers leverage these capabilities to provide new insights and business opportunities.

It's frustrating when missing pieces ruin the fun of finishing a puzzle; it’s even more frustrating when your business does not have a complete picture of the customer. Gaining a full understanding of the customer — what makes them tick, why they buy, how they prefer to shop, why they switch, what they’ll buy next, what factors lead them to recommend a company to others — is strategic for every company. Learn how leveraging IBM’s big data and analytics capabilities can equip your customer-facing professionals with the right information at the point of interaction to resolve problems faster, deepen relationships, predict future behavior or identify the right products and services to up-sell.

Real-Time Analytical Processing for large amounts of data. Explained via European reference case.

Learn how IBM has helped a European cable company to get better insights into the quality of their digital television services, using IBM BigInsights.

Frank has a Bachelor of Science from Hogeschool Eindhoven, The Netherlands and has 23 years of experience in the information business.

This demo session aims to inspire you to create solutions using data exploration and data analytics.
You will be shown live examples on how to monitor competitor activity using public data and text-analytics, and how to create and visualize a knowledge network by combining (unstructured) project, hr and employee data.
