IBM provides a variety of education offerings for you to learn WebSphere® Host Integration software and to help you prepare for certification tests. You can customize your education by selecting from the following methods:
WebSphere Host Access Transformation Server Workshop - 3 days A prepackaged workshop module designed for up to 4 students. Includes classroom instruction and lab exercises to build and customize sample applications and screens using WebSphere Studio and the HATS Studio. Provides instruction in use of macros, and global variables with HATS applications. Delivered by IBM Host Integration Services.
SW910 - Host Publisher Application Development Workshop consists of 4 days of classroom lecture and lab exercises. The objective of this course is to teach implementation of Host Publisher Version 3.5 applications using advanced techniques designed to handle a wide variety of application scenarios. Advanced topics are discussed to give an in-depth understanding of Host Publisher technology and how to apply this technology to real-world applications.
E4485 WebSphere Host On-Demand V6 Implementation Workshop consists of 2 days of classroom lecture and lab exercises. The objective of this course is to teach how to install, maintain, and use Host On-Demand. (replaces E4480)
E4486 - IBM Screen Customizer V2.0.6 Workshop consists of 2 days of classroom lecture and lab exercises. The objective of this course is to teach how to implement, administer and customize host applications using Screen Customizer (replaces E4480).

IBM Certified Specialist - IBM WebSphere Host On-Demand V6.0 Implementation (Test 145, IBM WebSphere Host On-Demand V6.0 Implementation)
This specialist works with network and Web server administrators to plan and deploy IBM WebSphere Host On-Demand. This specialist establishes and maintains emulation session configurations and features for users accessing host applications, secures session data, and is able to perform basic problem determination using the tools provided with Host On-Demand.
To achieve this specialist certification, one needs to pass Test 145, IBM WebSphere Host On-Demand V6.0 Implementation. Test 145 is designed to measure skills in areas of:
1. Developing a Host On-Demand installation plan
2. Installing Host On-Demand and performing installation verification tests
3. Installing and configuring LDAP to function with Host On-Demand
4. Using the Administration Client
5. Configuring and deploying the cached client
6. Using the Deployment Wizard to generate customized clients
7. Enabling host-directed printing
8. Implementing the Host On-Demand security features
9. Enabling Host On-Demand access for WebSphere portal server
10. Performing problem determination
