A simple step-by-step guide to RSS

If you want a simple step-by-step guide to RSS, see our handy "Steps to Installing RSS" graphic below:

RSS Installation Instructions

Each step from the graphic above are repeated here in text, for accessibility reasons.

Steps for installing RSS
Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is an XML-based format for sharing new topics and headlines right at your fingertips. Information is fed through your RSS reader and is delivered directly to your desktop.

1. Download an RSS reader -- You can start taking advantage of this function by downloading an RSS reader. Many RSS readers are available for download on the Internet, such as Awasu and Pluck. Find the orange RSS logo -- After you have installed the reader, find an orange RSS logo on the Lotus support site (each product will have one) and click on it.
3. Copy the URL -- This will bring you to a page with the raw XML feed. Copy the URL from this page (this step may vary depending on what reader you choose).
4. Add the feed URL -- Add the feed URL to your RSS reader.
5. Congratulations -- You can now have up-to-date Lotus support topics delivered right to your RSS reader.
