Lotus support

The Partner Connect service is available exclusively to PartnerWorld (Business Partners) and Accelerated Value Program (AVP) customers.

If you are not a PartnerWorld member but would like information about the program:

• You can learn about the powerful IBM technical and marketing resources that are at your disposal as a PartnerWorld member on the PartnerWorld program page.
• You can register on the PartnerWorld Registration page to join the program.
  
  NOTE: There are varying levels of PartnerWorld membership: Member, Advanced, and Premier. The Member level requires minimal commitment - simply complete the online registration form and accept the PartnerWorld agreement. There is no charge to join at that level. In return, you are given access to a number of IBM technical and marketing resources that can be helpful to your business.

The following requirements must be met for Partner Connect:

• Subscribers must be willing to cross certify a server with our Partner Connect server.
• Subscribers must have Internet access.
• If the subscriber's server is behind a firewall, or in a DMZ, subscribers must be willing to open up port 1352 to allow our server to contact the subscriber's server.
• Subscribers must be willing to identify a main contact point for Partner Connect related communications and issues.

To register for Partner connect, follow these steps:

1. Obtain a copy of the Safe ID that will be used to cross-certify the IBM Domino environment with your Domino server environment. To obtain this Safe ID:
   • For Accelerated Value Program (AVP) customers, please contact your Accelerated Value Leader (AVL).
   • For Business Partners, please send a note requesting the Safe ID to Lotus Partner Connect Registration.
2. Cross-certify the new IBM Domino environment with your Domino server environment using the Safe ID for the server. It is recommended that you cross certify at the organizational unit level (i.e. /01/EPM) for increased connectivity flexibility with other servers that will be providing support for AVP Customers and Business Partners.
3. Send a Safe ID for your Domino server to Lotus Partner Connect Registration to be used to cross-certify your server with the IBM environment. Cross-certification with the IBM environment will be performed at the server level, so if multiple servers from your environment connect to IBM a Safe ID for each server should be provided.
4. Add the server ExtRepHubN1/01/EPM to the ACL of each database replicated to/from IBM, with a user type of "Server" and an access level of "Designer" with the "Delete documents" attribute set. The new environment does not support Enforce Consistent ACL; this property has been disabled in databases where it was previously enabled.
5. Add a Replication Connection record to initiate a pull/push replication with the ExtRepHubN1/01/EPM in the upgraded IBM environment. The IP address for the ExtRepHubN1/01/EPM server is 129.42.211.82.

Please send any communications related to Partner Connect, including Safe IDs for cross-certification, to Lotus Partner Connect Registration. Be sure to include the following information in all correspondence:

• Customer Name
• Company Name
• Contact Email Address
• Customer Classification (AVP or Business Partner)
• PartnerWorld ID (if a Partner)
• Database(s) you are requesting to replicate

NOTE: For new partners, database replica stubs can be provided with the required ExtRepHubN1 ACL entry already added.
