Extra control to your end users
Help protect your end users and provide them with the control they need to manage their email to their custom needs. The IBM® Lotus® Protector for Mail Security solution grants administrators a wide degree of flexibility in defining rules that can help target and quarantine suspected spam. Administrators are also able to grant end users the ability to define their own custom rules. If granted permission, end users can control their own allow and block lists, giving them personalized control over email that is allowed for delivery to their inboxes. This extra degree of protection not only helps ensure that delivery of suspected spam is prevented, but that legitimate email specific to the user is allowed into the network.
In addition, end users can also be sent personalized reports showing the email addressed to them, that has been quarantined by the Lotus Protector for Mail Security solution. To allow for ease of use, users can optionally click on links within the quarantine report to release messages directly to their inbox, without the need to log into the end-user quarantine. Furthermore, live queries that tally the amount of email not delivered to them as defined by their block list are available.
