Lotus Protector for Mail Security

The IBM® Lotus® Protector for Mail Security solution helps protect your IBM Lotus Domino® email infrastructure from spam, viruses and other threats originating on the Internet. Built on the sixth generation of the IBM ISS Proventia Mail Security offering, it is designed to defeat email threats at the network edge, preserving network and computing resources, while helping to keep offensive content out of the workplace.

Spam and virus management

• Content filtering powered by IBM Internet Security Systems™ (ISS) X-Force® research and development team vulnerability-based research. Updates from the IBM ISS Global Data Center are delivered many times per day to help you respond to changing spam tactics and threats.

• Includes more than 20 analysis modules for custom scanning of email at many different levels to help meet legal, regulatory, and business policy compliance requirements - helping to control content that leaves your network.
