The IBM® Lotus® Protector for Mail Encryption software appliance extends the native IBM Lotus Notes and Domino RSA encryption to the Internet. You can communicate effectively with third parties without worrying about unauthorized access to your email, and be confident in the identity of the other party.
The Lotus Protector for Mail Encryption software appliance provides flexible options for encrypting email and attachments that best meet the needs of your business. For example, IT administrators can easily define policies that determine which outgoing email is encrypted at the Lotus Protector for Mail Encryption gateway.
In addition, for roles and responsibilities that demand encryption right at the desktop, such as legal council, mergers and acquisitions or accounting, the Lotus Protector for Mail Encryption software appliance also allows for integration directly in the Lotus Notes client.
Simply click the familiar 'Encrypt' and/or 'Sign' buttons in your Lotus Notes email above the 'To' field. For the convenience of the user, this is the same interface used when encrypting and signing email sent between Lotus Notes users.
Lotus Protector for Mail Encryption offers you flexibility to meet unique business requirements, while integrating with Lotus Notes and Domino software to help minimize training and deployment for your IT department and end users.
