Lotus Connections

Staying current with updates from across your social network has never been simpler or faster, through the use of new capabilities on the home page, the new microblog feature, and with tags. For example, the Updates tab on the home page include the following:

• The new Updates tab which aggregates and displays updates from across your social network in a list, which displays the most recent update at the top. This makes it easy for individuals to scan through the list and quickly identify the updates that interest them most.
• Updates are focused on people within your network. You can also follow specific people or tags and view updates across the services in the "Watchlist."
• The list of updates can be filtered so that it displays what is most important to each viewer. The listing can be focused on updates from an individual's professional network, notifications they have been sent, or updates that are public.
• Updates that are of particular interest can be saved and aggregated for viewing later. This is useful when you want to quickly scan through the list of updates, but do not have time at that point to read the full details.

Tags are the glue of Lotus Connections, and help you find the content, people, and activities you need. The new "microblog" feature in Lotus Connections 2.5 is an exciting new way to tell and see what's going on, right now, in your social network.
