coreFusion™ Inc. Launches Fully Integrated Unified Communications and Collaboration Hosted Solution for Small to Mid-sized Companies
LOTUSPHERE, ORLANDO, FL. January 19, 2009 - At IBM Lotusphere 2009 conference, coreFusion™ Inc. will be presenting its hosted Unified Communications and Collaboration solution through an interactive demonstration of the integrated services (Booth 401-402).
The global solution market launch is targeted for summer of 2009. "Small to mid-sized organizations will be provided the ability to easily optimize business processes and communications while streamlining IT expenses and resources through the integration of various real-time communication methods.", states coreFusion President, Pete McPhedran. Unified Communications and Collaboration will be launched for these market segments as a single secure solution hosted and managed by coreFusion. Integrated fax services will follow.
coreFusion's hosted Unified Communications and Collaboration solution combines IBM Lotus Sametime, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services, softphones, IP-based hardphones and a hosted PBX system to provide a cohesive system supporting telephony, email, instant messaging, video/web conferencing and collaboration tools. This solution can be considered an all-in-one "Software as a Service" offering to the business market.
Unified communications establishes the environment to initiate communications from one medium and seamlessly deliver it to another. Embedded logic allows for messages to be routed as needed. A simple example is the ability to capture a voicemail message and send as an email attachment that is read by the receiver from a PC/Mac® or mobile device. Another example is to accept an office phone call from a softphone installed on a laptop with Internet access while traveling. coreFusion's hosted solution will enable companies to effectually direct communication flow, share information and manage data.
