WebSphere MQ Service Definition
Service Definition: Turn WebSphere MQ applications into SOA services
IBM is pleased to announce the release of a new SupportPac which specifies a way to describe WebSphere MQ applications as SOA services.
This Service Definition uses Internationalized Resource Identifiers (IRIs) and Web Services Description Language (WSDL).
The Service Definition SupportPac includes:
WebSphere MQ Service Definitions can be created for applications that use either SOAP or native (non-SOAP) messages.
These specifications enables developers to write WebSphere MQ Service Definitions that can help catalogue your applications in a standard, machine-readable way, and use the Service Definitions to aid the development, management and monitoring of WebSphere MQ applications, particularly where tools exist that take advantage of these specifications.
