Our Enhanced Service Offerings are designed to complement our Standard Services offering by providing extended services in areas that have proved challenging to our existing customers. The focus of the Enhanced Services offerings is to strengthen ongoing implementation projects and to extend consulting support beyond the initial implementation.

Quality assurance reviews
Quality assurance reviews focus on both the technical aspects of an implementation and the quality of the overall implementation process. A comprehensive assessment is performed by an objective executive level reviewer. To be effective, they are performed at multiple stages of an implementation project; i.e. immediately prior to detailed design signoff, code complete and system test signoff.
Design reviews focus on customer-specific interface design documents. Reviews are typically performed external to the core project team and often involve our Solution Center using remote connectivity as an enabler. Recommendations are provided based on the detailed review.
External code reviews
External code reviews focus on the program code of custom or modified WebSphere Business Integration components after initial development but before system testing. Reviews are performed external to the core project team and often involve our Solution Center using remote connectivity as an enabler. Recommendations are provided based on the detailed review.
IBM Software Services for WebSphere Business Integration has a team of architects and developers available for outsourced development or project staff augmentation called the WBI Solution Center. They provide turn-key development to a specified scope of WebSphere Business Integration solution components--e.g. custom servlets, connectors, collaborations, etc. The Solution Center developer acts as a remote, but dedicated member of the on-site development team to complete the deliverables assigned.
Maintenance, enhancement and operation support of the production environment
IBM Software Services for WebSphere Business Integration also provides ongoing maintenance and support of a customer's production environment. This can include: fixes and enhancements to existing interfaces, future development, front-line support for interfaces running in production, ongoing upgrades, application of patches and operation of the production environment.
IBM Software Services for WebSphere Business Integration provides a full suite of migration support services, including migration planning, installation and migration of prior customizations, training on the new features and transferring knowledge about the new release. WebSphere Business Integration InterChange Server Migration Service can be purchased for support of a customer-led team or as a full turn-key project.
Enterprise integration strategy
IBM Software Services for WebSphere Business Integration can work collaboratively with you to plan an overall enterprise integration strategy over a 2-3 year horizon. The enterprise integration strategy includes: a "to-be" vision of the integration architecture, guiding principles for integration, a roadmap and high level business case over the desired timeframe, and a prioritization of applications, business objects, and platforms for integration.
