In October, 2011, IBM announced a new release of IBM ILOG Elixir Enterprise V3.5, our flagship product for software developers on the Adobe Flex platform. This new release includes many new features and existing Elixir Enterprise customers with current maintenance are eligible for this new release.
With this new announcement, IBM will no longer release new versions of the introductory product, IBM ILOG Elixir (also known as "IBM ILOG Elixir Standard"). The current version, 3.0, which was made available June 2010, will continue to be sold by our partner, Component Source (link resides outside of ibm.com), at their discretion. In any case, the product will continue to be maintained (i.e., questions answered and bugs fixed) by IBM until 2015.
IBM recognizes that some existing Elixir Standard customers may be interested in the new features offered by the latest release of Elixir Enterprise, 3.5. If you are an Elixir Standard customer (if you have already purchased the product, either through ILOG, IBM, Adobe, or ComponentSource), there is a limited-time offer to upgrade (fee required) from an Elixir Standard license to Elixir Enterprise.
