IBM WebSphere Business Modeler Publishing Server Version 6.2 enhances the IBM Business Process Management (BPM) Suite by providing a way to publish business processes and related business information, such as process models, organization diagrams, dashboard designs, and user interface form images, to a secure Web site. This capability supports the development, documentation, and dissemination of business processes on an enterprise scale. By publishing business processes and other BPM assets in a Web-based format, various stakeholders including subject matter experts and business analysts from around the world can view and contribute to the development of best practice business processes.

What's New in Version 6.2

Extended Integration Capabilities
WebSphere Business Modeler Publishing Server V6.2 provides extended integration with WebSphere Dynamic Process Edition through Business Space powered by WebSphere, a collaborative user interface that integrates BPM content for holistic management of business processes. The Business Space component ships as the user interface for WebSphere Business Monitor, WebSphere Process Server, WebSphere Business Services Fabric, and WebSphere Business Modeler Publishing Server. With Business Space, WebSphere Business Modeler Publishing Server capabilities can be combined with other BPM content to create a unified end user experience. In addition, WebSphere Business Modeler Publishing Server enables commenting and review capabilities within Business Space.

V6.2 also offers improved synchronization with WebSphere Business Modeler to ensure that new WebSphere Business Modeler features are reflected as part of the published model.

Improved User Experience and Expanded Platform and Infrastructure Support
IBM WebSphere Business Modeler Publishing Server now gives users the ability to view models using WebSphere Business Modeler’s Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) diagram style. In addition, users no longer need Adobe SVG to view process diagrams.

IBM WebSphere Business Modeler Publishing Server now supports Oracle 10g and 11g, Firefox 2, and Linux on System z both SLES 10.0 and RHEL 5.0.
