The WebSphere DataPower Integration Blade XI50B, and the new WebSphere DataPower Integration Appliance for zEnterprise (XI50z) are complete hardware platforms for delivering highly manageable, secure & scalable integration solutions.

The WebSphere DataPower Integration Appliance for zEnterprise (XI50z) provides a multifunctional appliance for the System z environment that can be implemented to help provide XML hardware acceleration, streamline and secure valuable service-oriented architecture (SOA) applications, and provide drop-in integration for heterogeneous environments by enabling core Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) functionality, including routing, bridging, transformation, and event handling.
Both the XI50B and XI50z extends WebSphere DataPower SOA appliance capabilities through enhanced operational efficiency with the adoption of the latest IBM BladeCenter technologies
Enhanced performance with next-generation XML hardware acceleration and 10 gigabit Ethernet, and optimized load distribution with the Option for Application Optimization.

It augments the powerful authentication and SOA security capability of DataPower to further protect organizations’ data.
