Hello, and welcome to the IBM ECM ValueNet partner presentation of Infolinx. Infolinx Web Physical Records Management Software developed by Infolinx System Solutions located just outside of Washington, D.C. in Kensington, Maryland, is a physical records management software application.
As we'll see throughout the remainder of the presentation, Infolinx is intended for enterprise deployment, it's compliant, it's truth in architecture and nature and is integrated with IBM RM and IBM FileNet P8 platforms.
So when should you be interested in Infolinx, when will Infolinx make a difference for you or your client? First of all, in terms of regulatory compliance, if compliance issues such as DOD 5015, health insurance portability, accountability act or Sarbanes-Oxley, if these regulations or standards have become a concern for you, that's a time to call Infolinx.
Records retention management. If you are either developing a records retention schedule or if you have one in place, if you have a centralized repository and need to apply records retention management principles, classifications to physical records, that is the time for Infolinx WEB.
Physical space management. If there are concerns with the volume of space taken up by files and/or boxes or other physical assets or corporate records, this is another prime time to include Infolinx WEB as part of your solution.
Now, the little bit more detail. What is Infolinx WEB? It is a truth in client physical records management software application as mentioned before, seamlessly integrated into the IBM records manager or RM or the IBM FileNet P8 solutions.
And it provides a host of functionality, but at its core it includes and it facilitates the management of physical and electronic records within a single unified solution and it also provides as mentioned the centralized records retention management functionality.
Now, Infolinx WEB almost immediately, as soon as it's installed, begins to provide real immediate return on investment. Primarily that return has centered around increased efficiencies based upon daily workflow.
As you can see listed on the slide here workflow processes including the actual process of data creation, of labeling the actual physical folder or box, whether it's black and white labels or color coded bar coded labels...
...the processes of requesting physical records either from centralized file rooms or from offsite storage facilities, the retrieval and the refiling of those records, activities including such things as the packing of boxes as well as the elimination of missing files and/or records. And then, the archiving or the final dispositioning of records.
All of these workflow processes are greatly improved and become more efficient with the implementation of Infolinx WEB.
Also of prime importance is the issues centering around the decreased cost with physical storage. If you or your client are in a situation where there is an ever-increasing volume of records at file or box level the implementation of the Infolinx WEB product especially in conjunction with IBM software facilitates the timely disposition of your eligible records.
Space management is a core piece of functionality built into the Infolinx WEB product which allows you to facilitate and to improve the efficiencies and record centers to lower the cost of storage of your records. And then sometimes as well for clients who are interested in internal charge-back capability, Infolinx WEB includes a module that facilitates exactly that.
Very briefly, the technology and the architecture of Infolinx WEB is listed here. It is true thin client architecture -- or in plain English, it means all your end users need is a browser, Internet Explorer, Netscape or Firefox, any of the commercially available standard browsers.
Web services are available for integration of Infolinx WEB with existing or legacy applications already at the client site, and Infolinx WEB supports both SQL Server 2000 forward as well as Oracle 9i and forward databases.
Here's a presentation of a standard application screen in the Infolinx WEB application. Infolinx WEB is actually industry non specific. This happens to be a picture of a medical application centered around encounters or patient visits. All of the screens at Infolinx such as the one you're seeing here are entirely configurable both pre- and post-deployment.
And then finally some key clients. As we just mentioned Infolinx WEB is industry non specific, but here's some of the more recent key clients we are currently working with. The Federal Bureau of Reclamation in Denver, Colorado, from the government sector.
In the medical or health care sector, we have Public Health Seattle, King County, an implementation across the counties surrounding Seattle, which includes about 20 facilities, all with their public record management there.
In the financial sector, we have the Chicago Board of Trade; and then, in the archival or state record center industry we have Iowa, Missouri and Wyoming state archives in addition to a number of county facilities across the country that are using Infolinx WEB.
We thank you for your time and your interest in Infolinx WEB. We hope this was helpful to you. Please do not hesitate to use the contact information provided for additional information either the 800 number as listed here, the e-mail, or of course from our Web site at infolinx.com. Thank you.
