- Maintain greater control over your schedule as the line between work and life outside of work continues to blur. Lotus Notes 8.5 software integrates various personal and professional calendars into a single view. Users can subscribe to iCal-based calendars and calendars in activities (meetings and to-dos associated with your current activities)¹, and view their complete schedules in one, easy to use interface.
- Share contacts across platforms that support the vcard file format, allowing users to exchange business contacts quickly.
Access
- Make your operating system choice, separate from your collaboration tool choice. Lotus Notes 8.5 adds support for the Apple Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard and Ubuntu platforms.
- Provide broader support for roaming users, for example students and business centre users, and reduce the need for dedicated laptops. Users can move from one Lotus Notes 8.5 client to the next and enjoy a consistent experience, bringing along email, applications, client settings and preferences.
