ABSTRACT:
DST update needed in the jre shipped with the TPF Operations
Server.

COMMENTS:
There is a DST issue in the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) that
is shipped with the TPF Operations Server (TOS). This affects
the timestamp on console messages (AAEC*), the default end time
stamp for the DB2. Database Query, and the client time in the
DB2 Logs when the older logging client
(com.ibm.tpf.etos.database.JDBCClient) is used . The newer
TOSLOG DB2 logging client does not have this issue.
 

SOLUTION:
The update to the JRE is provided with this APAR fix. Another
option is to use the link
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/jdk/dst/index.html to a
utility program to update the JRE in \IBM TOS\Console\jre
directory.

downloaded from Sun Microsystems, Inc., please see the Sun
Microsystems, Inc. web site for more information on updating
those JREs.

MIGRATION CONSIDERATIONS:
Prerequisites for installation, in order: 
TPF Operations Server version 1.2.04

This APAR must be applied to TPF Operations Server version 
1.2.04
To maintain a list of APARs applied to your system,
we suggest that you create a directory named "APAR" under the 
TPF Operations Server base directory.
Keep all APAR text files (ICxxxxx.txt) that are applied to your 
system as a log.  

To apply this APAR to your system, do the following:
1.  Unzip IC52125.zip to a temporary location.
2.  Run "tosapar.bat".
3.  Restart all consoles on the workstation including the main 
console window (jcon), the DB2 Query and the java logging 
client (JDBCClient).
