ABSTRACT OF PROBLEM

TPF changes are required to support TPFDF APAR PQ36341.


COMMENTS ON PROBLEM
___________________
TPFDF  APAR PQ36341 enhances the TPFDF "capture/restore utility,
information and statistics environment" (CRUISE) by adding  mul-
tiple  reference check (MRC).  A TPF APAR is required to support
this enhancement.


SOLUTION
________

o   IBMPAL has been updated because load modules UFHM  and  UFHN
    have been introduced by MRC.

o   SPPGML has been updated to include the stub for UFHM.

o   SPRIAT  has  been  updated to include pool file IDs, X'FD23'
    and X'FD24' introduced by MRC.

o   FTVA03, c$fva0, and GENR have been  updated  to  verify  the
    MRC fixed  file record, #IRCMDF, has been defined during the
    SIP process.

Migration Considerations
========================


o   TPF customers that do not use TPFDF must  still  apply  this
    APAR to ensure they have current maintenance.

    TPF  customers  that use TPFDF must install this APAR at the
    same time as TPFDF APAR PQ36341.

o   SALO must be run to create new SAL and IPAT tables. This  is
    done by assembling the SIP stage 1 deck and then running JOB
    SIPSAL1A  from  the resulting SIP stage 2 deck. The new IPAT
    table must then be loaded to the online system.
    Customers using the TPF multiple  database  function  (MDBF)
    feature  must  create  new SAL and IPAT tables for each sub-
    system.

o   Please  refer  to  APAR  PQ36341  to determine the number of
    ordinals for #IRCMDF. Then generate a FACE  table  and  load
    the table to the online system.

o   You  must run STUB to create new C stub for UFHM before cre-
    ating   the APAR PQ36341 load modules.    This  is  done  by
    assembling  the SIP stage 1 deck and then running JOB SIPL52
    from the resulting SIP stage 2 deck.
